Re: computer-go: On the e-journal discussion
I personally hope it's not considered off topic to talk about the
e-journal on this list. I am interested in the e-journal, but I'm not
interested enough to join yet another mailing list. It's just my
opinion but aren't you shooting yourself in the foot? You effectively
limit your exposure to the ideas presented by taking it off a group
devoted to exactly this kind of thing. The idea of an e-journal seems
highly topical and interesting to a group like this.
Wouldn't you consider it silly for me to say, "I am only interest in
information about go programming techniques. Please confine your
comments about this subject to my new mailing go-programming@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
I don't consider your list a bad idea, but I do consider it a little
premature, when at this early stage you need to generate interest and
feedback.
