Indeed, this is why I first thought it was unnecessary to put the other
list going. But if the Journal discussion on comp-go list distracts
someone I think it is polite to move the discussion away.

The unfortunate thing really is, as you mentioned, that discussions tend
to die when they are moved to another forum :(
