I used this example in the paper.  Europeans who aren't anglophone generally
seem to accept this type of argument.  However Koreans and Chinese often
find Japanese terms unacceptable - I have met this situation a number of
times.

The OP being Korean, and the answer to the question being "no" as far as I
can see - debates on the Sensei's Library site seem to confirm this - I
stand by what I said.  There is a kind of jargon that most experienced go
players tend to understand, using more Japanese terms.  It shouldn't be used
for considered go writing, for all the usual reasons about buzzwords.  In
particular, and this is the other major argument, it creates a barrier to
beginners coming into the game.
