It can be an extra ko threat. If you have that somewhere :

OOOOOOO..
OO...OO..
OXXXXXO..
OXO.OXO..
OXXXXXO..
OOOOOOO..
.........

The two O stones are dead anyway, but suiciding them threatens to kill the
center eyes. So it can at least give you an extra ko threat. From there,
someone can easily find an example where it makes you win the game.
