Never underestimate the power of an rs232 crosscable!!!

Seriously: just a serial cable can solve the OS-inter-operability-thing.
No sockets, no bridges, no middlemen.
Just hook them up. Simple. Perfect.

And it has lasted for 20 years or so.
I am going to implement GMP, possibly
as a bridge between a serial cable and a GTP-speaking program.
Should not be too difficult, exept for the GTP semantics ...
