Re: [computer-go] question regarding Hydra Chess Supercomputer

No secret. Simply forgot. Theoretically about 40 MPosition/sec. But one can
not really compare it. E.g. Hardware search is less efficient than software
search (no hashtables, search logic is simpler).

Sorry, was a misunderstanding. But so many people are asking me: I want to
buy Hydra, whats the price. Yes, it is a T-shirt. But I think there are also
other gifts available. As far as I know even watches.

Yes. But under this condition one does not anymore get a human team. As
always the programmers got nothing. But the organization was very fine. E.g.
I was never before picked up at the airport, excellent hotel, dinners...

Of course, and they have also experience in human-computer tournaments. We
know now also that we have to prepare the next time more aggressive
openings (we knew this theoretically beforehand, but there is a difference
between knowing something theoretically and having practical experience).
