Yes. I only report on 19x19 games.

Couldn't you save a huge amount
of time by using a smaller board?  Like 13x13?   At least to get some
preliminary results and to get the code to do what you want in a well
organized and extensible way.  13x13 games should be around 4x faster
since you get the reduced board area and the reduced game length.
Yes we could, but I guess I only consider the full boards
as the correct test.

We often run a small board game when we implement a new
feature or algorithm or test a bug fix, but if it looks right we go
back to full boards for determining the real result.

I cannot see any point in playing a large number of games
against MF on a small board unless we are just trying to
chase down a rare end-game bug ... and we have not had
one of those for a while.
