[computer-go] restartable game end protocols / AGA ruleset
a restartable ruleset sovles this class of problems.
has anyone mentioned the AGA's restartable ruleset yet?
after two passes, if players disagree about life, play resumes.
whenever a player passes, they hand a stone to their oppoonent.
if there are four consecutive passes, it's final: all groups are alive.
if territory isn't completely surrounded, it's seki.
if players play with territory counting in mind, the AGA ruleset gives
equal results for both area and territory counting. komi is 7.5 due to
white having to pass last.
