I had heard you had to pay to be promoted within the Nihon Ki-in, but this is
shocking!  A 10-kyu buying 3- and 4-kyu diplomas!  What's this world coming
to?

On a more serious note, it's really really hard to write a go program.  You
didn't get ripped off by buying handtalk.  You just underestimated the
difficulty of the problem.
