That is correct. However arguing that because you have constructed a
live group in someones territory it was therefore not territory is
logically wrong. It is only the kind of reasoning that is needed to
justify unreasonable play.

Which is unfortunately an end for a lot of people, rather than an
indication of whether some other end has been achieved..
