I am very much against using Yahoo.

Yahoo is a commercial service, infested with advertizements on their web
interface.
It is a pain to use and AFAIK they do not keep records of all messages as a
flat file.

Better would be an ordinary, privately run message board, but even better
would be allowing access to asian posters on this list and sending messages
as daily digests by default.

The people who made the world's strongest Go program are North Koreans and
they can read what we write but they are banned from talking to us.. No
wonder they gain on us, it's one-way communication.
