great. david f. has indicated that he is interested. maybe smart go's author would allow me to use my copy. this does not have to be official. i could just be sold as just an experiment or something. and with a small number of programs, we could play then off against each other more exhaustively than is normal. (let'em play all night sometimes, giving them lot's of time?)
If I can get Sluggo there with a traveling cluster I would be very happy if we can get a statistically significant sample of games between the various programs. ....
that would be great. it should spur interest in the programs at the very least. and give some authors more data points.

we have been having this in a hotel near downtown la. most of the equipment, trophies, pc's etc, we use is sorta just left around (covered sometimes or put under a table). in short not a lot of security in a hotel conference area. would we need a room that could be locked for a bunch of pc's?

thanks
