Can't you give them the win by forfeit and also offer an AGA-rated
game against the comp, with a $10-20 prize if they win?
hmmm, yes we could. it would give them something to do. they *are* probably psyched up for a game.

great idea! how can anyone complain about this? (someone will probably find a way :).

It seemsreally weird to repair the tournament to take away the win by forfeit,
so just use it as a convenient time slot to play a game.
